Kokedama Workshop

Come join us at the Hurstville Interpretive Center on Sunday, August 16, at 1:00pm to get rooted
in nature with a kokedama! A kokedama (translated to moss ball in Japanese) is a craft that
involves creating a moss ball for a plant to become rooted in, with no pot. In the workshop you’ll
learn the history behind kokedamas and create your own to bring home with you!

This event is geared for all ages, kids must be accompanied and monitored by an adult. All
instruction and materials will be provided.

The workshop is $35 per person. Registration is required by August 13th. Registration is online

will be downstairs in the community room of the Hurstville Interpretive Center. The Hurstville
Interpretive Center is located 1 mile north of Maquoketa on Highway 61.
