Full Hunter Education Class

There will be a Full Hunter Education Class at the Sabula Izaak Walton near Sabula on Saturday August 15th from 8am-4pm. Class will include live fire. Food will be provided, and dress for the weather as there will be outdoor activities. Hunter education is a mandatory program that is designed to introduce students to several life-long skills that are important to many different types of outdoor recreational opportunities. The course teaches students basic survival and first aid skills, water safety, wildlife identification, the basics of wildlife management, hunting laws, and firearm/archery safety. Hunter education also stresses the importance of individual responsibility and outdoor ethics. Sign up by Sunday August 9th for the class!
