October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Osterhaus Pharmacy and the Jackson County Relay for Life are hosting their annual Bras for a Cause fundraiser.
Community members are invited to decorate and donate bras, which Osterhaus will display for a public vote. Relay member and Osterhaus employee Sue Williams first brought this event to Jackson County and has organized it ever since.
Entries into the competition will be accepted throughout October, as only one bra is on display right now.
Each cent donated counts as one vote, and the top three decorated bras will receive prizes. Everything raised goes directly to the Jackson County Relay for Life to support cancer research and patient resources.
