ISU Outreach hosts Ag Venture career day for Jackson/Clinton County students

Around 125 students from Jackson and Clinton County were in Maquoketa exploring and learning about agricultural careers with the ISU Outreach and Extension’s Ag Venture.

Extension worker Katy Petersen explained more about what students were able to learn.

Topics and displays ranged from conservation to drone applications, in-depth information on horticulture, a calving simulator, and a demonstration of a grain bin rescue done by the Maquoketa Fire Department.
