American Revolution Experience bids farewell to Iowa and Jackson County

The American Revolution Experience has wrapped up after a week of display at the Historical Society County Museum.

The exhibit made the Jackson County Fairgrounds its final stop in Iowa before leaving the state. The exhibit was organized by the National and local Daughters of the American Revolution in celebration of the United States’ 250th birthday.

Master Gardener Judy Tonderum stopped by the exhibit and says it featured lesser-known historical figures and their stories.

The exhibit has ended and will leave the state to travel to other DAR chapters across the country.
