Maquoketa Hall of Fame hosts upcoming banquet

The Maquoketa Hall of Fame will welcome new inductees into the ranks, with a special banquet to highlight the achievement.

Maquoketa alumni are eligible 10 years after graduating and must be sponsored by other community members. Committee member Colin Larson says the community is invited to join in the celebrations which will be held the first weekend of October.

The tickets are available now at both the Maquoketa State Bank on Main Street and Dan’s Barber Shop. The meal will be catered and drinks will be served in addition to the ceremony itself.
