Grilling for Charity hosts first event in Preston

The Maquoketa State Bank is bringing its Grilling for Charity event to Preston for the first time. Proceeds raised from the upcoming event will benefit the Preston Fire Department.

Next Friday, September 25th, from 11am to 1pm, the grill will be serving hot food for the community, with in-town delivery available to those who submit their orders by next Tuesday September 22nd.

The event also lines up with Easton Valley’s Homecoming Pep Rally and Parade, making for a full afternoon in Preston.

They will be serving grilled pork tenderloin, hot dogs, chips, cookies, and water or lemonade, for an $8 suggested donation price.
