Abandoned car found in ditch near Bernard Road

An abandoned car was found in a ditch at the intersection of 150th Street and Bernard Road late last night.

According to police reports, a white impala was found in the ditch with no occupants in the car or the area around it. The impala did not have any plates on the vehicle to help officers with identification.

The car was towed from the scene and is being held by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office while the investigation continues. No additional information has been released.
