Maquoketa iJAG prepares for year of projects and community outreach

With the start of the new school year, the Maquoketa Middle School iJAG program is already working on organizing this year’s projects.

Middle school iJAG instructor Moesha Flake highlighted last year’s achievements and what the students put their efforts towards.

Building off of last year, the students are wanting to continue many of the projects they started while looking for other avenues to serve and improve the community. One way that is being explored is a potluck that would be held twice a year to raise items that are always in need.

The details on the potluck are still being discussed but the students are eager to organize the event.
