Bellevue Assessment Board Looking For Donations

The Bellevue Assessment Board is calling on community members to help bring autumn flair to the town’s waterfront by donating seasonal items they no longer want or need to deck out the large gazebo on Riverview Drive. Board members are gathering donations of pumpkins, gourds, and gently used fall decorations to transform the riverfront gazebo into a community photo backdrop for the season. Residents interested in donating items are asked to submit them by Friday, September 12. The deadline ensures volunteers have adequate time to arrange the full display ahead of mid-September community events. Once complete, the decorated gazebo will host a public photo session on Wednesday, September 17, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A photographer will be on-site during that time to capture seasonal photos for visitors and local families. The evening coincides with the nearby River Nights at the Lofts event, offering attendees an extra stop along the riverfront. Local organizers expressed gratitude to residents willing to contribute, emphasizing that community donations play a key role in adding seasonal beauty to Bellevue’s public spaces.
