Maquoketa City Council hosts presentations for at-large position

The Maquoketa City Council will host a special meeting to receive presentations from applicants for the open at large position.

The city received six applicants all of whom were required to live within the city limits. Rose Frantzen, Kenneth Haley, Elias Langlois, Rhonda Pape, Dale Scott, and Jim Trivette will all give presentations and answer questions by city staff.

The applicants will then be ranked with the overall choice being appointed during a regular meeting on September 8th, when they can expect to begin serving.

The special meeting will be Monday August 24th at 6:30pm at the Maquoketa City Hall.
