Lost Nation resident wins grand prize in KMAQ’s Word To Your Summer

We at KMAQ hosted our Word To Your Summer grand prize giveaway during yesterday’s Maquoketa Summer Concert Series, where 500 dollars in KMAQ bucks went to only one winner.

30 people were eligible for the contest, and while no one walked away empty handed, only one took home the grand prize. Taking home the grand prize was Al Schroeder of Lost Nation, whom I was able to speak with afterwards.

You heard that right, while this year’s Word To Your Summer is finished, next year’s will be even bigger. During the final moments, Company President Jim Coloff decided to up the grand prize for next year, doubling it to $1,000 in KMAQ bucks.

If you want a chance to win, make sure you’re staying tuned to KMAQ Radio.
