Evelyn Darlene Fleming

Evelyn Darlene Fleming, of Olin, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was born on September 28, 1958, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Wilbur “Harry” Summers Jr. and Roseanne Heskett.

Evelyn attended Anamosa High School. She was united in marriage to Dean Laverne Fleming, who preceded her in death.

Family was at the heart of Evelyn’s life. She loved spending time with her family and treasured the memories they created together. She was also grateful for the friendship and care provided by Marty Seeley.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Nikki Rich, Krystal (Jon) Peters, and Kacie Fleming; her grandchildren, Logan, Riley, Ryan, and Rosie; her great-grandson, Ayden; her brothers, William (Nancy) Summers, Charles (Marci) Summers, and Michael Summers; her cherished friend and caregiver, Marty Seeley; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dean Laverne Fleming; her son-in-law, Jon Peters; her granddaughter, Daytona; and her grandson, Cameron.

In keeping with Evelyn’s wishes, no services will be held at this time.
