Two dead, five injured in Dubuque County crash

Two people are dead after a collision in Dubuque County on Saturday night.

The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office alongside several other agencies responded to the intersection of East Worthington Rd and Comer Rd for a collision between a car and a side-by-side.

Among those involved was a ten-year-old child, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Six others were transported to area hospitals with life-threatening injuries. One of the patients, 33-year-old Joshua Tack of Union, Iowa later died from his injuries.

Officials say the investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
