Driver walks away from accident on Bellevue-Cascade Road

An accident occurred on Saturday evening on the Bellevue Cascade Road.

According to police reports, a driver went off the road just northeast of Bernard destroying a power pole when doing so. Reports also say the driver, and sole occupant, left the vehicle after the accident and walked away from the scene.

The power company repaired the damage done to the pole and wire quickly, with the car being towed away from the area the next day.

No information on the status of the driver or any injuries are available.
