The Maquoketa Splash Pad construction is progressing well, with expectations set to open the new amenity in June of next year.
The Maquoketa YMCA Director Scott Warren explained a bit more about the company leading the project and the cost that was expected vs what is being seen.
The street improvement project that is actively being done in the area next to it will set the stage for the splash pad to begin immediately afterwards. Scott Warren also went into more details about the collaboration between the city and the YMCA on this project.
