Dollar Barn stocks new items for fairgoers

The Jackson County Fair parade later today starts the week of events, and 4-H members are all hands on deck.

In addition to the numerous animal and livestock shows, 4-H students will also be manning the dollar barn. The building was recently rebuilt for this year and will feature new items for fairgoers to enjoy. Amber Matthiesen was joined by three 4-H students who will be working the dollar barn to highlight some of these new treats.

The dollar barn has existed at the fairgrounds for years, but the previous building was smaller and restricted the availability because of it. With an expanded building, the workers and equipment will remain cooler, allowing for the 4-H students to serve all the food fairgoers want.
