Barn of Dreams received $100,000 donation from Maquoketa State Bank

The Barn of Dreams project is marking its one-year anniversary with a major boost, a $100,000 donation.

The Maquoketa State Bank made the donation Sunday morning during the 4-H endowment breakfast. Earlier this year Dan Powers and Mike Franzen made a challenge to any group or business to also donate $100,000 dollars towards the project.

Committee member Ashley Schnoor-Johnson stated that they were honored to be able to celebrate their 1-year anniversary and the start to fair week with such a large donation.
