Grassley responds to questions on rising farm costs, Save Our Bacon Act, and the Iowa Gubernatorial Election

KMAQ was able to talk with U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley and ask him questions directly.

I asked Senator Grassley about the Save Our Bacon Act that has been the center of recent discussions. He responded that he was in full support of the bill and viewed it as protecting Iowa pork producers.

Grassley stated that the act would help not only ensure Iowa pork in other states’ markets, but also protect them from other state influences that could have negative effects.
