Road safety improvement project north of Bellevue scheduled for 2027

A section of road just north of Bellevue has received enough grant money to expand the road and offer increased safety.

The City of Bellevue worked with the County Engineer Jayden Scheckel to receive funding for road improvements. Scheckel went into more detail when he was on our Just Talk podcast.

While the right turn lane will be the biggest item in the project, lights at intersections and smoother curves are also planned for the road. Because part of the project involves roads within the city limits of Bellevue, the county and city are collaborating on the details and funding.

More details can be found on our podcast here.
