KMAQ SPORTS: Results from Wednesday 7/8

In Regional Softball Quarterfinals last night, with the winners advancing to the semifinals on Friday night-

Class 1A-

Midland fell to Ed-Co 8-0 in 5 innings.

Easton Valley was shutout by North Linn 8-0.

Calamus-Wheatland edged Central City 6-4 and will travel to face North Linn.

Class 2A-

Northeast lost to Cascade 10-0 in 4 innings.

Marquette Catholic lost to Durant 5-3.

Tonight Class 3A/4A/5A first round contests with 7pm start times-

The Maquoketa Cardinals will be on the road in Solon to begin 4A play. All the coverage from KMAQ Sports around 6:50pm with Sports Director Jon Swisher.

Central DeWitt hosts Clinton.
