Repair work begins on Jackson County Senior Center

The Jackson County Senior Center is still closed, but has seen reconstruction and repairs on the building begin.

While efforts have started to open the center back up to its hundreds of monthly users, the community has continued to host the groups that were displaced. Senior Center members Lucinda Schwenker and Linda Sieverding spoke about how thankful everyone is for the support.

No timeline on the repairs for the center have been announced, but work is progressing. Until the center is reopened, the many groups will continue to be hosted by the community.
