KMAQ SPORTS: Results from Tuesday 7/7

In postseason baseball last night in the coverage area, district semifinals took place.

In 2A-

Marquette Catholic was up 10-1 and was able to hang on to win over Wilton 12-9. The Defenders will be home on Saturday night to Durant who downed Alburnett 12-5.

In 1A-

Midland was denied of the upset by East Buchanan as they fell 1-0.

Calamus-Wheatland was handled by North 12-1 in 5 innings.

Tonight, softball regionals resume with Class 1A and 2A quarterfinals starting at 7pm.

In 2A-

Marquette Catholic will be home to Durant after an 8-0 win over MFL-MarMac on Monday night.

Northeast will be in Cascade.

In 1A-

Calamus Wheatland is at Central City.

Midland travels up to Colesburg to face Ed-Co. That contest will be on our sister station MIX 94.7 KMCH available at kmch.com or the KMCH App.

Easton Valley will be at North Linn.
