The Maquoketa Public Library is hosting a new event later in July.
During the winter they have a taste testing event, usually of candy, that the public can participate in. For the summer they are hosting a similar event, this time with chips. Library director Katie Pauls explained the event and its differences.
The event will be Wednesday July 15th from 5-6:30pm. The specific chips to taste will all be different flavors of Doritos, including some Canadian exclusive flavors. This event is completely free at the Maquoketa Public Library.
