KMAQ SPORTS: Results from Thursday 6/25

BASEBALL-

Maquoketa swept Camanche 5-2 and 7-6.

Midland lost to East Buchanan 13-4.

Marquette Catholic toppled Springville 13-3.

Easton Valley was shutout by Maquoketa Valley 10-0.

Central DeWitt lost twice to Pleasant Valley 5-4 and 6-0.

SOFTBALL-

Midland fell to East Buchanan 11-10 and 11-3.

Marquette Catholic roughed up Springville 13-1 in game one, Orioles claimed the nightcap 12-4.

Central DeWitt fell twice to Bettendorf 6-3 and 13-4.

Postseason regional pairings were announced by the IGHSAU yesterday afternoon.

First round games for 1A/2A will take place on Monday, July 6th with second round on the 8th, semifinals the 10th and Regional Finals on the 13th. Class 3A and 4A starts on the 9th, with semifinals on the 11th and finals the 14th.

4A-

Maquoketa will be at Solon.

Central DeWitt entertains Clinton.

2A-

Marquette Catholic has MFL-MarMac at home.

Northeast travels to Cascade.

1A-

Easton Valley welcomes  in East Buchanan With North Linn hosting that winner.

The winner of Midland and Clayton Ridge heads up to Ed-Co.

Calamus -Wheatland is home to Central Elkader.

North Cedar is at Springville.
