Clinton officials release statement regarding door-door solicitors after several reports

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office released a statement regarding door-to-door salesmen recently reported throughout the area.

The reports state that they are often using aggressive sales tactics and pressuring individuals into making payments and decisions on the spot. Officials want to encourage Clinton County residents to never feel pressured to make these kinds of decisions, and to remember that such solicitors are required by county ordinance to have permits for such tactics.
