SOFTBALL-

Maquoketa lost two to Highway 61 rival Central DeWitt, Sabers won in two close one’s, 7-3 and 12-11 in 8 innings in a night that took 4 hours and 39 minutes of game play time.

Calamus-Wheatland was swept by Maquoketa Valley 6-5 and 8-0.

Marquette Catholic was topped by Ed-Co 5-2 in 13 innings and 14-4.

North Cedar fell to North Linn 23-1 and 21-0.

Easton Valley beat Springville 9-5 and lost 22-3.

BASEBALL-

Maquoketa lost to Davenport North 10-0 in 5 innings, the Cardinals will travel to DeWitt tonight to face the Sabers.

Calamus-Wheatland lost to Maquoketa Valley 9-2.

Marquette Catholic defeated Ed-Co 10-0 in 5 innings.
