Julien Dubuque Bridge sees lane closures as construction project begins

The Highway 20, Julien Dubuque Bridge, connecting Illinois and Iowa is now under construction resulting in a partial closure.

The eastbound lane into Illinois is closed for the first stretch of construction, which will then lead into a full closure of both lanes. The construction project is expected to last until September of this year, with the detour route taking drivers into Wisconsin before connecting back to Highway 20.

Allow for extra time during any commute, especially during heavy traffic hours.
