Two vehicle accidents occurred in Jackson County over the weekend both involving deer.
Friday and Saturday night a deer jumped in front of two different vehicles causing damages to them but not injuring the drivers. Neither driver required treatment but the vehicles were disabled from the collisions and minor damage was done to a guard rail.
Deer are most active in the early morning and late evening when the sun is low, requiring more vigilance to avoid those accidental collisions.
