County Fair quilt squares available for designing

The squares for the Jackson County Fair Quilt are available for pick up and design.

The fair quilt board members Brenda Hermes and Jean Hester discussed the project and how long it has existed in Jackson County. The designing of the squares is up to the participants, but there are requirements the square must follow.

The materials come in bags that can be picked up at Hermes Auto and Upholstery and the Maquoketa State Bank on Main Street. Supplies are limited on a first come first serve basis but are open to any who would like to participate.
