Changes to Open Class Division rules for Jackson County Fair

Changes have been made to the rules for the Jackson County Fair’s Open Class Divisions.

Board members Renee Davidson and Linda Benhe spoke more about the rule changes and what competitors and viewers should expect. One of the biggest changes was made to the photography division and the dimensions of the photographs themselves.

In addition to changes for previously existing categories, they are also offering new categories for those interested, with one of them being for home brewing. With the increased availability and ease to make your own alcohol, the fair is looking for entries.

The changes for the class divisions can be found online through the fair website or picked up in person from the fairgrounds office.
