Maquoketa School District will distribute weekly free meals to children

The Maquoketa Community School District will be providing free food to children over the summer months.

The announcement was made on their Facebook page and states that breakfast and lunch meals will be provided for no charge each week starting June 11th. The meals will provide breakfast and lunch for a full week per child.

They specify that the child does not need to be involved in the school district, with it being open to all children and families to utilize.

The pick up time will be from 2:30pm-6pm each week on a first come first serve basis at the high school front entrance.
