City officials discuss process for expanding housing options in Maquoketa

The Maquoketa City Council discussed several agenda items during yesterday’s meeting, with one being about building and expanding residential housing in Maquoketa. The City Manager Josh Boldt spoke about this topic and the process being put into making Maquoketa more likely to receive opportunities.

Josh went on to speak about where this kind of housing would be located, and some changes that would have to be addressed for construction to occur.

As Josh said there this is a conversation that is needing to be had before any kind of action is taken.
