15-year-old airlifted for injuries after fall in Clinton County Park

A 15-year-old in Clinton was airlifted after a fall from a bluff.

Yesterday Clinton police and fire departments responded to Eagle Point Park for a fall from height. When officials arrived on scene the situation was deemed severe and AirCare was called for transport.

The Clinton Fire Department transported the patient to Deer Creek East before handing over care to University of Iowa personnel.

Clinton officials want to remind everyone of potential dangers around cliffs and ledges, and to remain alert and aware when in these areas.
