Jackson County police aid Dubuque County in arrest of hit and run suspect

Jackson County officers assisted Dubuque County officers in apprehending a hit and run suspect.

Just after 2:20am on Sunday, Dubuque notified Jackson County officers of a vehicle that fled the scene after hitting two vehicles. The vehicle fled south on 52, with Jackson County officers stopping the suspect on Weber Road near the county line on 52.

The suspect was then arrested and taken into Dubuque County custody before 3am.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing and being led by the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office.
