D.A.R. will participate in many 250th year celebrations in the area

The Daughters of the American Revolution are participating in many different events throughout the area to help celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States.

The D.A.R. is a group of women that can trace their lineage back to the members of the Mayflower, and focus on education of American history.

One of the events they will be present at is the Memorial Service at the Andrew Cemetery next Saturday. The group is open to all those eligible who want to preserve American history, maintaining a non-partisan stance as an organization.
