Jackson County Transfer Station back open to full capacity

The Transfer station in Jackson County is now completely open for use.

The station suffered a fire that burnt down the main building and made their services unavailable for a time. While rebuilding, the transfer station opened up with restrictions on what could be brought in. Jackson County Supervisor Don Schwenker said that as of this week, the transfer station is back open to full capacity.

As Don said there were delays that occurred with logistics to open the stations up earlier. However, the station is now fully open during their normal hours without any additional restrictions in place.
