Dyersville man in critical condition after crash with tractor on Highway 20

A Dyersville man is in critical condition after a collision with a tractor Monday afternoon.

According to the Iowa State Patrol crash report, the driver of a Ford F150 collided with the back of a tractor on Highway 20 just before 5:30pm. The tractor was pulling an anhydrous toolbar and tank when the truck rear ended the tractor and equipment.

The driver of the tractor was uninjured but the truck driver was transported to MercyOne in Dubuque for life-threatening injuries.

The Iowa State Patrol is leading the investigation into the incident.
