AEDs now available in public Dubuque areas

The Dubuque Fire Department released information on Automated External Defibrillators that are now available throughout the city.

The AEDs are placed in public locations across the city to provide quick access during a medical emergency. When needed 911 dispatch will provide a code to unlock the housing unit of the AED and provide step-by-step instructions to use.

They can be found in heavy foot traffic areas, with many being in and around parks across the city.
