Maquoketa officials update payment methods for city fees

The City of Maquoketa released a notice of updated payment options for various items this morning.

Effective immediately the Maquoketa Police Department will no longer accept cash payments made directly at the station. All cash payments for citations, permits, or fees will instead be made at the City Hall.

Payments made with cards will still be accepted, as well as online payments.
