Maquoketa School District hosting many senior class events

With the end of the school year quickly approaching, the Maquoketa Community School District is hosting many events and ceremonies for the graduating seniors. The first event is next Tuesday and will recognize all the seniors in where they are choosing to go after graduation.

The award ceremony for the various scholarships earned by students will be held on May 19th. Cardinal Superintendent Tara Notz also mentioned that in the last 10 years, over a million dollars have been awarded to seniors by community scholarships.

The Maquoketa senior class will then graduate on Friday May 29th, which is a change from years past. All of these events are free and open to the family and friends of the students, with community members being welcome as well.
