Missing Clinton man found deceased in Rock Island County

A body found on the shore of the Mississippi River has been identified as a missing Clinton man.

On April 28th the Clinton Police Department was notified by the Rock Island County Sheriff’s Office regarding the location of a deceased individual. The authorities in Rock Island reported finding the body on the shore near Cordova Illinois.

The body has been identified as Dermot Bly of Clinton, who was reported missing on April 17th.

The Clinton Police Department states the investigation is ongoing, with no more information being released at this time.
