Book sale at Maquoketa Public Library

The Maquoketa Public Library and Friends groups are hosting their book sale throughout this week.

The sale occurs twice a year, once in the spring and again in the fall. The books for sale include donations as well as others from the library’s collections that haven’t been checked out for some time.

The books themselves are very cheap, only costing a dollar at most. The sale will continue until this Saturday ending at noon. The proceeds from this sale will then go to the friends group who utilize the funds for various projects and programs offered to the public.
