Clinton County Conservation have been and will continue to deal with localized flooding in their conservation areas.
Park Supervisor Karri Rutenbeck spoke about the flooding they have experienced with the Wapsipinicon River, and the flooding expected to peak tomorrow with the Mississippi in Camanche which will impact Rock Creek.
Karri went on to say that the start to this Spring has been unusually wet and stormy, resulting in more cleanup from storms in their parks and trails. The flooding in Camanche is expected to affect their camping area in Rock Creek, and could delay the opening of the area for camping and programs.
