YMCA Program Director shares vision for the future

The YMCA has welcomed a new Programs Director who is also a coach for the Maquoketa Cardinal Baseball Lance Richardson. As part of his news position he aims to help the students grow and develop in more ways than just athletically.

As someone who grew up in Maquoketa himself, Richardson understands the importance of athletics in helping to foster a strong and close community. He will be initiating changes to the programs offered for the youth at the YMCA, starting in the summer by offering weekly sports workshops.
