Maquoketa School District will celebrate all winter activity students

With winter activities mostly wrapped up for the year, the Maquoketa Community School District is organizing a special day to celebrate all the students who participated.

The recognitions would not be just for sports, but for all students who performed in activities over the winter. The Cardinal Superintendent Tara Notz spoke more about the event on this morning’s Just Talk.

Tara then went on to say how important these recognition events are for the entire school and community. The students being recognized go throughout the schools to connect with younger kids and build a stronger connection throughout the grades.
