Boil water advisory for Dubuque

A large portion of Dubuque has been placed under a boil water advisory.

Due to a water main break and the subsequent repair on the main, there is a potential for bacteria contamination in the water. To mitigate any potential contamination, it is recommended that those in Southern Dubuque boil all water before use until the advisory is lifted.

The boil order went into effect yesterday, and could extend throughout the week if needed.
