Tree pruning event with ISU sponsored by the Jackson County Master Gardeners

Spring is the time when preparations are made for the upcoming planting season, both for farms and gardens.

Tomorrow afternoon the Master Gardeners are hosting a special event about fruit tree pruning, how to do it correctly for a variety of different trees, and they have also brought in an expert on such topics from Iowa State University.

The cost is just 5 dollars and will last about two hours from 2-4pm tomorrow afternoon. As Judy Tonderum from the master gardeners said, it will be right East of Baldwin, with signs helping to direct people to it.

Not only will this go over a lot of information, you will also get to sample the drinks, like cider and even wine, that were made with their very own fruits.
