Tree pruning event this Friday hosted by Master Gardeners

With Spring on its way, now is the time to prune any trees or plants that need them before the summer.

Melissa Wood from the Jackson County Master Gardeners talk about an event they are hosting this Friday at her property. This is an event that will cover all the information and techniques for pruning different fruit trees, and an expert on such topics will also be there.

The event will be at Melissa Wood’s property near Baldwin, and will cost just $5 to register. The cost is well worth it, as not only will you get great information and materials, but also will get to sample some of the products that can be made from the fruits.

So register through the ISU Extension Center and get a spot for the pruning event. The date and time will be this Friday March 13th from 2-4pm.
