Living Last Supper performance will be in Maquoketa’s Sacred Heart Church

As it is the Lenten Season, the Living Last Supper event has started and will be performing around the area.

The event is a portrayal of the Last Supper that is organized and put on by many local community members of various denominations. Mark Newland and Richard Gerardy, who both act in it, spoke about the show on Monday’s Just Talk.

This event is also completely free for any and all to watch, and will be performing all around the community. They do accept donations but said they do not expect nor push it onto those who come and watch.

Their next performance will be on Saturday March 22nd at the Sacred Heart Church right here in Maquoketa. They will also be performing in Dubuque as well as Dyersville after that.
